Nidhi Land is hiring a Planning Engineer for site operations to own project scheduling, progress tracking, delay analysis, and planning accountability across building construction projects in Mangaluru.

Responsibilities

Define a realistic and feasible contract duration for execution in coordination with Management, the Proposal Manager, and the Estimation Department
Define the Project Breakdown Structure
Develop the overall project schedule in line with the company's SOPs, planning guidelines, and contractual requirements
Prepare and submit the project baseline schedule and support the client approval process
Track progress, milestone achievements, and project deliverables
Ensure that project team members are aware of key milestones, activity durations, and critical paths
Monitor and control the project schedule to identify delays and propose corrective actions
Analyse delays arising from changes, claims, or client-related issues and prepare Extension of Time analysis where required
Act as the single point of accountability for all project planning and scheduling activities
Highlight areas of concern and recommend solutions to ensure successful and timely completion of projects
Manage and guide the project planning and scheduling team
Provide project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methods
Maintain planning records and provide inputs for departmental statistics and future project planning

Requirements

Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Scheduler in building construction projects
Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 is mandatory
Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi; Tulu optional
Effective communication skills required

Qualifications

B.E., B.Tech., or Diploma in Civil Engineering
